iPhone dessert table {Real party submission}

I love receiving beautiful feedback from our reader's and when this party arrived in our inbox all the way from the Netherlands I just had to share it! Elianne created this iphone inspired dessert table for one of her clients and incorporated romantic flowers with some neon accents. Some of the sweet treats included mini chocolate fondue and ice coffee with brownies.

Lady Beetle Dessert Table

Today I had the pleasure of styling a dessert table for a Christening together with Couture Cupcakes & Cookies.

Little Ava's mum chose to have a lady beetle theme, so we created an elegant lady beetle table using red, pink and green as our colour scheme.

Quatrefoil Dessert Table

Yesterday I had the pleasure of styling a dessert table for a 21st birthday party together with my good friend Marie from Couture Cupcakes & Cookies.

Together, we designed a black, silver and white dessert table that was totally glamourous. We used a quatrefoil pattern as the background and a silver confetti tablecloth was the perfect base for the sweets and candy.

The cake was simply gorgeous, featuring 2 tiers of black and white icing, strands of diamantes and feathers atop. The cake pops with sparkly swirls and ruffled cupcakes complimented the birthday cake.

I arranged two vases of flowers and tied a black lace around the vase and a selection of white, grey and black candy was used in jars that were embellished with vintage brooches and oversized black satin ribbon.

Red Velvet Christmas Cake

I am loving this festive season and find baking sweet treats very enjoyable! My boys also love to help out in the kitchen and of course lick the spoon & bowl!

Today I made some red velvet cake, (recipe via taste) and I cut it in small pieces to fit into some glass canister jars, that I embellished with a small bamboo spoon & some Christmas ribbon.

I also took myself flower shopping this morning and purchased a beautiful range of Christmasy flowers. They are perfect in my vintage blue mason jar (via sweet style)

A Christmas Dessert Table

Christmas is certainly in the air at my home. Our Christmas tree is up, standing elegantly in our family room, our outdoor Christmas lights brighten up the street & they attract passers by & my boy's visited Santa to tell him what they would like for Christmas & we had our Santa photo for 2011 taken. Amongst all of that, we had a family pre- Christmas celebration where I styled a sweet dessert table that we all enjoyed.

For me, this Christmas was all about Turquoise & Metallic & I wanted my table to reflect both a vintage & rustic feel . My colour scheme was inspired by the Christmas displays that were -jaw droppingly gorgeous- that I spotted during my recent trip to NYC. I incorporated Christmas props that I purchased from here & the beautiful cakes were made by my lovely friend Marie from Couture Cupcakes & Cookies. I designed the printables & my cake stands were purchased from the fabulous Sweet Style.
