I Heart Stylish Parties

Party planning and styling is definately one of my current loves. I love it all! From deciding on a theme & colour palette, to styling the dessert table, decorations & sweets & all the other little details. So, I decided to create some of my own cupcake toppers in a variety of themes that I believe would look perfect on a cupcake. Winter warmers

Well, I think we are now officially beginning to have a taste of the cooler season after a chilly day in Sydney. I got to thinking about delicious warm winter meals and cannot go past the classic velvety pumpkin soup. Here is a delicious recipe from Taste.

The cooler weather also brings about fashion changes. And I must say I have a few pieces I'm loving right now! You can't go past the feline eye, centre part and black nails, along with a pair of printed or opaque tights, a classic boot and tailored coat. As I begin to contemplate whether I need to pull the heater out of the garage, I definately will be going through my scarf collection as I think the simple scarf can make a key statement along with a detailed necklace. I found myself on topshop and pulled together some key winter pieces.

Earth Day

Earth Day and kids go hand in hand. This is a special day set aside to bring awareness to conservation efforts and help educate people on how to be more earth friendly. The Month of May...

I found myself looking over our social calendar for the Month of May and found that we have four, yes four birthday parties! I got to thinking about the wonderful world of blogs and the many, many inspirations and ideas we can obtain from them and I find myself wondering what are some unique and useful gifts out there that would make a fabulous birthday present for a child? I HEART NY
Well it has been 1 year exactly since we went on our family vacation to the US of A. Browsing through our holiday photos and watching some video footage has brought back some fun and exciting memories. After visiting the 'concrete jungle', I must admit it is my most favourite place in the world, so much to see and do...a stroll in Central Park, taking in the city views at the Top of the Rock, sipping a coffee and treating myself to a delicious Magnolia Bakery cupcake while the boys play at Bleeker St playground, shopping in the luxurious ABC Carpet and Home and standing in the middle of Times Square & Grand Central Station...the list goes on...I cannot wait to go back!

I Love Flowers...

I cannot express how much I simply love having gorgeous fresh flowers in the house. I was ecstatic when I discovered a stylish little florist right in the heart of Cronulla. My lovely husband bought a lush bunch of flowers for my birthday in the colours I love. The girls at Harperwood are friendly and their presentation and flowers are just simply divine. Pool Party

Kayden celebrated his 6th birthday party in style with some school friends in March. A pool party theme was in order as we had just completed some yard renovations just in time! The weather was perfect, the children had fun in the pool and playing traditional party games.The colour pallette I used for all things party were reminiscent of the beach/pool- cool blue, warm yellow and crisp white.
