A Cherry On Top

Who could resist a scrumptious dessert party featuring delicious smooth creamy ice-cream in a neopolitan trio of colours, crushed peanuts, chocolate and strawberry fudge toppings and a cherry on top? I know I certainly couldn't!  After seeing the highly anticipated Donna Hay Kids Annual Magazine cover- featuring mouth watering ice-cream sundaes {out July 7th} it not only left me craving ice cream waay past midnight, but it also led me to discover a whole lot of ice-cream themed bits and pieces.

What a lovely party theme for a boy or girl; simply add pale pink to the traditional vanilla and chocolate or fo boys, try a pale blue with vanilla and chocolate. Your dessert table will look inviting with these colour palettes and offering a buffet of ice cream toppings for a make-it-yourself party will surely be a hit for young and old!

This delicious theme sure has got me onto creating ice cream themed cupcake toppers- stay tuned!
