Easter Weekend!

We had a lovely Easter weekend and I hope you all did too! Ours was filled with a visit to the Church for midnight mass, an Easter egg hunt from the Easter bunny & lots of eggs {both dyed & chocolate} & of course spending time with all of the family. I even had a go at making some rice krispie easter eggs!

I also styled a sweet pastel Easter dessert table together with Vesna of My Little Jedi for an afternoon tea. I was very excited & honoured that it was featured on Amy Atlas Events blog & it was also included in the Easter Inspiration roundup by Enchanting Events & Design, how fabulous! x

Sweet Baby Shower

image via Fiskars, by Lisa Storm

I always love a pastel themed dessert table and more so now as we approach Easter. I came across this beautifully styled Baby Shower via here, by author Lisa Storm for Fiskars Craft. The details are simple and adorable, and there is a mini step by step guide on how to create some of the paper pieces by using Fiskars products. So sweet!

Vanilla cupcakes adorned with cloud shape toppers. Darling!

Tiffany & Co Inspiration

These past few days I have been quite busy, keeping my creative mind busy with preparing and planning for a Tiffany & Co inspired dessert table for a 21st birthday party next weekend. I am styling this dessert table collaboratively with my sister in law Vesna of My Little Jedi.

Here is a little peek of some inspiration, it's all about tiffany blue, pale pink & sparkles set on a waterfront which will make a gorgeous backdrop.

Red & Teal Party

Red & teal birthday

It is no secret that I adore a red & teal colour palette, these colours were the inspiration for my christmas dessert table last year. Take a look here. This perfectly charming and simple dessert table was styled by Candice Boekweg for her so'n Greyson's 1st birthday.

I love the white eclectic buffet/dresser, the pinwheels on the cupcakes & the bunting. Cake pops always look stunning on a dessert table and I love how the colours have been incorporated with the icing. Mason jars and striped straws are a lovely detail and I cannot go past the sweet little bunting by TomKat Studio.

Well done Candice, it looks amazing - less is more & simple is the key.

Red Baby Shower

I adore a nice shade of red and when I came across this baby shower designed by Sarah Gray Photography & Punch , I immediately fell in love with the simplicity of it all. I adore hobnail and coke bottles and I love how it is incorporated amongst the pinstripes and chalkboard frame.

Take Me Out To The Ball Game

Last weekend I celebrated my son Kayden's 7th birthday party at home. We chose a Baseball theme as he had just finished the baseball season here in Australia and what a fabulous one it was!

We incorporated elements of grass, baseballs, peanuts, chalkboard vintage scoreboard, and we even had the classic tune ''Take Me Out to the Ballgame'' playing in the background as we ate hot dogs and fries!

I was thrilled to see Kayden's party featured on the Amy Atlas Blog on Monday. Thank you so much Amy, it truly is an honor.

Here are some pictures from the day.
