I made it to Martha's Doer of the Week!

Wow! What an absolute honor to have been featured on the front page of Martha Stewart's Dreamers into Doers . I have not stopped smiling since I saw the post live yesterday morning! I was thrilled when I opened an email a couple of weeks back stating that I had been chosen to be a ''Doer of the Week". Being an avid fan of Martha and spending countless hours perusing through Martha's website as well as watching her tv show and reading her collection of magazines, it was really a dream come true for me as she is my role model and provides so much inspiration.

I have also been touched by so many gorgeous women in business from around the world who have contacted me recently with beautiful feedback & messages about the interview and how they too are feeling more inspired to continue their passion and to follow their dream.

Thank you so much Dreamers into Doers, for allowing me to share my dream, I am forever grateful x

Oompa Loompa

Willy Wonka chocolate bars, customised by Mon Tresor.

Tomorrow I am off to celebrate my niece's 5th birthday party, to be held at a fun playcentre with a Willy Wonka themed party room in metro Sydney. I had the pleasure of creating little favor tags for the pink gumball party favors as well as my favourite chocolate wrappers to date, Willy Wonka inspired ones which I personalised so that every child has their own name on the milk chocolate, with a gold ticket peeking out on either side.

Have a wonderful weekend x

Roll Up, Roll Up

dessert table styled by Mon Tresor

This afternoon I had the pleasure of styling a candy sweets table for an adorable little boy's Christening held at the beautiful Italian restaurant Grappa in the heart of Leichardt. The theme for the Christening was Circus and the colours chosen for Emilio's candy bar were red, blue & white.

With approximately forty children attending, I envisaged the table would have lots and lots of jars filled with coloured candy. I laid a red and white stripe tablecloth and gathered it at the front to resemble a circus curtain. It was topped off with a double bow on either end {making all kinds of bows is another one of my creative outlets}

A customised ''E'' sat on the centre of the table within a vintage style red frame, and I also created the printable sweets labels, banner & chocolate wrappers. I know there will be some very happy faces at the end of the evening when they fill their white noodle favour boxes to take home, full of delicious candy.

the circus is in town!

Tiffany & Co Party

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of styling a birthday party with a Tiffany & Co theme, together with Vesna of My Little Jedi.

Today we were honoured & excited as it was featured on one of my favourite party styling go to blogs; Pizzazzerie. Thank you Courtney!

The colours we chose for the dessert table were tiffany blue, pink & white with a touch of gold & crystal. The venue was set on a beautiful waterfront estate and we were lucky the weather held out!

The candy was colour co-ordinated & the desserts were beautiful; cake by Blissfully Sweet Cakes & cookies by Hello Naomi. The centrepiece on the dessert table was a vintage style crystal chandelier, and a posy of david austen roses & dusty miller flowers were also a focal point.
We added some sparkle to the vase & to the candy jars that were embellished with a classic and a tuxedo style bow. The table was covered with a raw silk diamond quilted material & this followed through beautifully with the quilted diamond chocolate wrappers & cupcakes.
