Furniture Fetish

{the kitchen and dining area}
I love the blue tiles and unique metal chandilier

Lately, I have been enjoying reading about and being inspired by others nursery and children's rooms. It then got me thinking about all the rooms in a household and how fabulously they can be styled. In particular, whilst watching {Sex and the City 2} and admiring the fashion worn by the gals, I couldn't take my eyes off the gorgeous furniture pieces and the styling of Carrie & Big's apartment. Such inspiration!
I loved everything about it- the entry, the kitchen, the lounge and bedroom, the colours, accessories, all of it! And, of course let's not forget that walk in wardrobe! Oh my goodness it is the size of another room! Oh how I would love to have one of those!
So, this post is dedicated to images from the wonderful apartment that I could very easily call my home...and especially because its situated in {NYC}.
Enjoy xX
{the lounge area}
I love the sapphire blue couch, artwork, the coffee table- what a gorgeous area for conversation

{the kitchen and dining area}
I love the warm neutral tones, the millions of pillows, the textures and patterns and those curtains are lush

{the wardrobe!}
I am speechless, I have no words! Except for "I want"!

{the entry}
What a gorgeous place to be entering each day. I particularly love the bookcases on either side, the centre round table with flower filled vase, the wallpaper, the lights..okay I love everything here!

Pretty Fabric Flowers

As {Poppyseed Markets} is fast approaching, I have begun to prepare my little goodies that will be available exclusively on the day {July 11th, 10-3pm PCYC Ador Ave, Rockdale}

I discovered a fabulous creator of all things fabric, {Ciel} and turned her vintage inspired little creations into headbands and brooches that can be worn by little girls and lovely ladies. A beautiful hair accessory, or wear as a flower brooch to compliment your outfit. Either way its simple, unique and stylish.

If you haven't already, mark the Poppyseed date in your diary. {Mon Tresor} will make its first debut with lots of stylish little accessories and party ware, be sure to visit our stall and say hi! I am now in the process of co-ordinating the stall table and am creatively trying to find new ways of displaying all the gorgeous products using the vintage and shabby bits and pieces I recently bought from the shabby chic markets. I can't wait! Xx

House of Turquoise

Turquoise, teal & robin egg blue- some of my favourite colours. A short while ago I purchased some lovely vintage turquoise earrings from an old second hand jewellery store that was closing down and since then I developed a LOVE for all things turquoise. I was thrilled to discover a lovely blog that was dedicated to all things turquoise with such beautiful images.

Colour My World...Naturally

Oooh how excited I am to share with you a new product available through Mon Tresor!
Introducing these wonderfully stylish crayon rocks created by Barbara Lee DaBoll! As a primary school teacher I recognise the importance of allowing children to indulge and experiement with their creativity through art and craft and crayons are one of the vital coloring tools to use. These little clever crayons are made from all natural soy wax and are coloured with mineral powders to create a gorgeous selection of vibrant colours. Their unique pebble design are perfect to develop their fine motor skills and encourage the 3 finger grip to create rich, bright artworks and drawings. Designed for pre-schoolers and primary school children, these crayon rocks are recommended for ages 3+.

They come in a range of 16 different colours, in a soft red velvet 'treasure bag' which is perfect for you to keep in your handbag, at home, add as a party favour, a birthday gift, or even as a decor statement! Your children will love them and so will you!

Available to purchase soon through our new gorgeously styled website Mon Tresor. Or, if you simply cannot wait, {trust me they are a definate must have!} email me and I will be happy to post them out to you sooner. Xx
